Nano microporous insulation boards for high-temperature industrial applications

Vacupor® is a well-known microporous insulation product family, and buyers who specify it sometimes look for an alternative or second source — for cost reasons, for supply security, or to shorten delivery chains. This page sets out what Anchor-tech supplies as an alternative, strictly on the basis of our own published product data. Vacupor® is a trademark of its respective owner; Anchor-tech is not affiliated with or endorsed by that company, and nothing on this page is a statement about their products.

The Anchor-tech Microporous Range

Our core product is a nano microporous insulation board with a published thermal conductivity of 0.020 W/m·K at 25 °C — lower than still air — a density of 220–280 kg/m³, and a continuous service rating to 1000 °C. Around the same microporous core we supply: rigid standard boards; flexible panels for pipes and curved equipment; arc-shaped panels for cylindrical shells; PE, aluminum-foil, and glass-cloth faced versions for moisture or handling requirements; machined shapes to customer drawings; microporous powder as a filler; and vacuum insulated panels achieving 0.004 W/m·K centre-of-panel conductivity.

Switching Supplier Without Switching Risk

Changing the source of a specified insulation material should be a verification exercise, not a leap of faith. Our recommendation: request sample boards cut to your current dimensions, run your own incoming tests against your specification, and trial the material in one vessel or one line before rolling it out. We support exactly this process with free sizing reviews, cutting to drawing, and full documentation — technical data sheets and test reports are available in our documentation pack.
